BOHEMIAN CAMP SAHARA Tailor-Made TOUR

Bohemian Camp Sahara Tailor-Made Tour Guide

— Journey to a Secret Desert Hideaway Accessible Only by Camel —

Venture deep into Morocco’s Sahara Desert.
Leave your phone, your title, and your everyday identity behind—and rediscover what true freedom feels like.

Deep in the Sahara Desert lies a self-sufficient camp where a Berber family lives.
Electricity comes from the sun.
Water is drawn from a well.
At night, there is only the glow of the campfire and a sky full of stars.
This is more than just a sightseeing trip.
Spend the night gathered around the fire, gazing at the stars and sharing stories with the Berber nomads.
Ride a camel across the dunes, surrounded by nothing but the sound of the wind.
Somewhere along the way, a question begins to arise naturally:
“How do I truly want to live?”
This is the kind of journey that invites you to reflect on what really matters.

What You’ll Experience

•A journey into the heart of the Sahara, accessible only by camel
•Authentic moments with a Berber family—far beyond ordinary tourism
•Desert nights filled with campfires, music, and breathtaking star-filled skies
•A few unforgettable days discovering the beauty of living with less

There is no fixed itinerary.
Instead, we’ll create a one-of-a-kind journey, designed around you.

Highlights of Your Journey —
Experiences You Can Only Have in the Sahara

1

The Greatest Adventure Only the Desert Can Reveal

Just as the young shepherd in The Alchemist crossed the desert in search of treasure and the true meaning of happiness, your journey through the Sahara becomes a journey into your own heart.
What does it truly mean to be free?
What does it truly mean to be rich?
Perhaps the answers are waiting for you somewhere among the endless dunes.

2

Experience the Universe Beneath One of the World’s Greatest Natural Planetariums

The night sky above the Sahara feels as if countless stars are pouring down upon you.
Look up, and you’ll see distant galaxies stretching across the sky with breathtaking clarity.
“It’s so quiet, you can almost hear the stars twinkling.”
Come and experience a silence so profound that it reconnects you with the universe.

3

An Evening Around the Campfire with the Nomads

As night falls over the Sahara, gather around the campfire and share stories with the Berber nomads.
They speak of the desert, of a life without permanent homes, and of the wisdom that comes from living in harmony with nature and following the rhythm of the journey.
What truly matters in life?
What does it really mean to be free?
As you experience their way of life, your own perspective may begin to shift.
Beneath the dancing flames and surrounded by warm smiles, this may become a night that quietly changes the way you see the world.

4

Discover a Green Oasis in the Desert, Created by a Japanese Dream

Visit the eco-farm of Hikaru, a Japanese farmer dedicated to sustainable agriculture in the heart of Morocco.
Blending the traditional wisdom of the Berber people with Japanese ingenuity, this remarkable farm is a living oasis where greenery flourishes against the backdrop of the desert.
Leave the noise of everyday life behind and immerse yourself in the gentle rhythm of nature.

5

A Safe and Authentic Adventure, Supported by Ali—Your Japanese Camel Guide

Your journey will be supported by a Japanese camel guide known by his Berber name, Ali.
After training in the Sahara and becoming part of the local community, he will personally coordinate your desert adventure—combining authentic experiences with the reassurance of Japanese-language support.

6

Journey into the World of The Alchemist

The Sahara Desert is the setting of The Alchemist, the international bestseller that has sold more than 85 million copies worldwide.
Perhaps, like the young shepherd in the story, you too may discover your own “true treasure” somewhere along the journey.
For a deeper glimpse into the harsh reality of the desert, Dying in the Sahara is also essential reading.
Why not travel with a book in hand and step into a world that feels like a story brought to life?

DAY 1

Meet in Merzouga, a small village in southeastern Morocco.

By Bus: Hassi Labied Bus Stop (Arrival: 9:00 p.m. local time)
By Air: Casablanca → Errachidia (Arrival: midnight local time)

From the bus stop or airport, a private transfer will take you to Hotel Yasmina, nestled in the Sahara Desert.
Relax and unwind at this charming desert auberge beneath a sky filled with countless stars.
When you wake the following morning, you’ll realize that you are in the heart of the vast Sahara Desert.

DAY 2

Enjoy a buffet breakfast while watching the sunrise over the Sahara Desert.
After breakfast, prepare for your adventure in the oasis town of Rissani. If you’d like to wear a traditional turban or local clothing, this is the perfect place to find them. Over lunch, take the opportunity to introduce yourself to your fellow travelers.

Next, visit the home of a nomadic family who truly lives in the Sahara Desert.
Experience the traditions and culture of the Berber nomads while enjoying a traditional Moroccan tea ceremony.
Then, at around 3:00 p.m., your Sahara adventure truly begins.

As darkness slowly falls, one star after another begins to appear above the dunes.
Your first night in the desert will be a light survival experience, living much like a nomadic family.

Dinner features Morocco’s traditional tagine, enjoyed around a campfire beneath an incredible blanket of stars.
Relax, share stories with your companions, and experience the peaceful silence of the desert. With so many stars overhead, you’ll almost certainly spot several shooting stars.
Then comes a once-in-a-lifetime experience: Spending the night in a tent in the very heart of the Sahara Desert. It’s a story you’ll be telling long after you return home.
And of course, don’t miss the unforgettable sunrise the following morning.

DAY 3

After breakfast, set off on camelback as the morning sun rises over the Sahara. Spend about two hours crossing the dunes before arriving at Bohemian Sahara, a secluded hideaway that can only be reached by camel. Here, you’ll bid farewell to your camel companions.
After lunch, enjoy a refreshing shower, take a relaxing afternoon nap, and then visit the eco-farm village.
As you stand among palm trees planted with a vision stretching 300 years into the future, take a moment to reflect and share your own dreams for the years ahead.

Dinner will be served at the hideaway.
In the evening, enjoy a special performance by the Khamlia musicians, guardians of Morocco’s traditional African desert music. Clap your hands, sing, dance, and immerse yourself in rhythms and melodies that have been passed down through generations.
Let the music of the desert renew your body, mind, and spirit.

DAY 4

After breakfast, enjoy an exciting two-hour sand buggy adventure across the Sahara Desert.
Feel the wind as you race over the dunes, leaving the fatigue of your journey far behind.
For an extra thrill, hop into the passenger seat behind a professional Berber driver and experience the desert from a whole new perspective. Afterward, take a break at Lake Merzouga before enjoying lunch at a local restaurant.

Then comes the final mission of your adventure:
Work together with your fellow travelers to find the hidden treasure.

Using only a map and a series of clues, search for a special treasure hidden somewhere in the Sahara by the tour organizers.
Join forces with the companions who have shared this journey with you and discover it together.
It will surely become a memory you’ll treasure for the rest of your life.

Plan your strategy, assign roles, and venture beyond the dunes as a team.
Our staff will supervise the area and ensure everyone’s safety, so even first-time adventurers can participate with confidence.

Once everyone reaches the goal, celebrate together with a farewell party at a resort hotel complete with a swimming pool.
Enjoy an exceptional dinner while watching the desert glow at sunset. Raise a glass with the friends who have shared this unforgettable journey across the Sahara.
By now, they may no longer be just fellow travelers—they may have become lifelong friends.
Thank you for sharing this incredible adventure with us.
